# Does Modern Requirements4DevOps replace my need for Microsoft Word?

Our primary goal as a solution is to remove the need for disconnected, third-party assets that need to be stored, managed, and maintained separately from your requirements.

To fulfill this goal our tool allows you to build your documents directly within your Azure DevOps project. You can build use these document to author new requirements using our document interface (just like Word), or construct a document by drag/dropping existing requirements into a document.

This means we replace the need to copy/paste requirements to and from Microsoft Word in order to build documents, and allows you to follow a document-driven workflow from within Azure DevOps.
